Festone

Festone is a series of paintings  inspired by  wall paintings in Case Romane del Celio representing an ancient harvesting feast.  Paintings are   connected  by white pearls.  These pearls  are of four size each size referring to one of four different bases  in DNA (atcg).  They carry  genetic information  of a tiny sequence derived from human genome  (ref. NCBI database/Homo Sapiens).
